New RC Airplane Plans on the Horizon...

We have been having a blast flying our most recent addition to the flight wing. This "Griffin" from EZRCAirplane.com was super easy to build and the video went through every step. Both the RC Airplane Plans and the Airplane Building Tutorial Video are available on their website. We have been doing loops, rolls, and even thermaled it to nearly "out-of-sight" recently. It can be super relaxing just to putter around silently, or you can add throttle to really ring it out. When flying inverted, we noticed a little wing wobble, so a carbon rod added to the wing root in the middle section might prove helpful here if you simply must fly inverted. My 11-yr old now wants to build "her own" so she can decorate it to her liking. My 15-yr old is also building himself a Griffin this weekend. With the other R/C flyers in the neighborhood joining in, we will soon be able to fill the sky at our flying field.
